Kara recently joined Kuiper Orlebeke as an “of counsel” attorney on matters related to civil litigation, real estate and corporate law.
While attending Wayne State University Law School, she was Assistant Editor and Managing Editor of the Wayne Law Review and served on the student-run board of the Free Legal Aid Clinic. She also received the Jaffe, Raitt, Heuer & Weiss Scholarship Award, and received Honors for her legal writing and research. At Hope College, she majored in Political Science, and her many activities included Mortar Board and Baker Scholars.
She and her husband, a dentist, live in East Grand Rapids, and enjoy attending U of M football games. Kara enjoys church activities, book club, and spending time traveling with family and friends.
